Hey everyone.
I don't know if any of you use Discord but recently I started playing bloodbowl online and the league i'm in uses it. It works really well for them and I thought I would try and make use of it for the league.
It's a chat room that keeps a permanent record (at least in the short term) of whats being talked about (so better than our shoutbox). Send private messages. It also has the facility for voice chat, so useful for trade discussions, and probably a host of other stuff that i've not yet discovered. If you are a phone user (im not) you can download an app that allows you access to it so you can keep track on the go. Its quite good to have running in the back ground on your pc or phone rather than having to always log in to the forums. I can message stuff and link to the forums direct as well.
So an announcment could be made, you get an instant notification, and can click the link to go direct to the relevent forum section.
If it doesnt work out, no biggie, all official stuff will be on the forums, but I thought it might add a new element of interaction to the league.
