What would be the interest is sticking GHL on facebook? Not as an alternative to the forums but as a means of keeping people enagaged with the game.
The benefits I can see are that it brings part of the GHL to you rather than you having to come to GHL. I think one reason activity drops off is that when people forget or dont feel like loging in then its easy to forget about the league, but its your getting facebook updates of interesting things then it will both remind people to log in and encourage them to if they see interesting things pop up.
The downside is not everyone is a facebook freak and I dont want to be doing things that exclude others.
I mainly see it as a way to announce trade blocks, promote awards, updates to results, if sim times and dates need to be changed, general chat etc.. I dont see it as using it to announce results except maybe in the play-offs, because of the size of data that would have to be put in.
