I'll bet it's interesting reading. But I have to think I will get a headache about 3 paragraphs in.

Finally. I've been waiting decades for the third part of the trilogy. Now it can go right on my shelf next to the Warren Report and Project Blue Book.

What does it say? that Iraq and Saudi was behind the attack the whole time? and we are best friends with the Saudis ? And they had enough evidence on Iraq that they didn't release to the media?

tI wish more people had cared about the truth behind that day when it actually happened. But unfortunately everyone was on board with blaming whatever middle Eastern country George Bush needed to get into. If you're interested in this stuff, watch Fahrenheit 9/11 or Zeitgeist.

Whatever the case it was still a terrorist attack. Either by the USA government or Iran or any other country. What matters is that thousands of people lost loved ones in all ranges of ages. Do I want to find out who did it? Yes, I do. At the same time. I feel that the USA did the right thing. It got or destroyed Al-Queda to show others that you dont mess with the USA. Unlike the dumb ass we have now as president. Since he has become president more and more Americans have been killed or capture. He has done NOTHING. Just look at Chattanooga, TN. 4 Marines and a Sailor Killed. President does nothing. Not even put the flags at half-mast. Until NOW. After scrutiny from Marine survivor (Lone Survivor) and finally the dam ass Media. Lets see if he goes to these funerals like he did to the 2 criminals killed by police. The USA, needs to show others we mean business. They need to close the borders. They need to stop this crap of the radical Islam. They NEED to drop the bomb in Iran, Iraq AND ANY OTHER COUNTRY who wants to fug with Americans or any other person, (country, religion) who just wants freedom. I do get pissed cause I have family, friends in the US Armed forces. I have lost some and visitt some a lot since this has gone on.

Woah, I wasn't going to comment, but for f*cks sake, the US invaded two other countries with no real pretext (in case you hadn't noticed, none of the listed hijackers were Afghani or Iraqi - the vast majority were from Saudi Arabia, which continues to be one of the Yanks closest allies in the region), they have murdered far more people in the Middle East than were killed on 9/11, and they are entirely reaping the rewards of their own actions in the Middle East going back to the end of the second world war. I mean, there's a reason Iran is a radical Islamic state: they had a *democratically* elected leader, the US didn't like him so they had him overthrown, the Shah ran the country as many dictators do, and so there was a popular rebellion.
The US should get the f*ck out of other countries affairs, stop replacing "unfriendly" democratically elected leaders with dictators, and then maybe they won't have to worry about people wanting to kill them.
You want to know how terrorists recruit? They point to all of the actions of the US government and US military, and say enough is enough, we need to fight back. And dang well they should.

And dang well they should. I'm all for people's rights to voice their opinions, but this closing statement really seems like an approval of the 9/11 attack. Maybe I'm wrong - I hope I'm wrong.

And dang well they should. I'm all for people's rights to voice their opinions, but this closing statement really seems like an approval of the 9/11 attack. Maybe I'm wrong. It is intended as support for people's right to self-govern, and if that requires taking up arms against invading Yanks, so be it. The difference between freedom fighter and terrorist is entirely subjective, and I can easily make the argument that the US has been the worst/greatest terrorist in modern history. Do I approve of the attack? No, I don't approve killing anyone, anytime, anywhere (except in extreme cases of self defense). But I also hate that we have such a strong focus on 9/11, the ~3k dead on that day, versus the estimated ~110k *civilian* dead in the Iraq invasion and the estimated 26k *civilian* dead in the Afghan invasion. That's not counting any "combatants". Ugh, this is such a bloody stupid conversation - the US is a corrupt, power hungry, run by the rich, horrible institution that likes to wave its proverbial army-d*ck around everywhere it can. I hope it rots.

OK. Obviously a topic that can get people angry, and rightfully so. I wrote my University Thesis on Terrorism so in any other circumstances I would love to see this play out and I would be jumping in all guns blazing.
However, I want to keep this a friendly place and I think this thread has the potential to get out of hand. Lets use this place to bring people together as friends and not let something as pathetic as politics separate us.
Thread has been locked but won't be deleted.
