Knicks Fans boo their first round pick every year. The majority of them expect each year that they will take a player that will be an immediate impact player when the reality is rarely any pick is ever that right away. There is an article off of bleacher report that was discussing this.

The pick has a good pedigree and should turn into a good player but the reality is all players picked are a crap shoot. I think it was a good pick and that he will do well for the knicks...get good and demand a trade just to flip the bird to those idiot fans that booed his selection.

On the bright side my Pistons picked Stanley Johnson who was the player I was hoping they will get. He should turn into a solid small forward for them and their 2nd round pick should turn into a good role player as well.
