Next Sim: It's playoff time everyone (and draft times as well). The play-offs will start on Monday and should run every day PC willing. I'll try and have the draft start then as well if I get time tomorrow to do the draft lottery. If it's delayed I'll look to start it Wednesday. After last year dragged out it was suggested we reduced the time slots to 3 hrs (rounds 1 and 2) and 2 hrs (rounds 3,4,5). I'll pust clarification on all the rules as well.
Important results first.

Detroit went in to the last few days with a chance of making the play-offs. They needed to win both their games against Atlanta and Minnesota whilst relying on the Phoenix to lose both of their games against Dallas and Anaheim. Phoenix needed just a single point to guarantee the post season party.

A DRAW !!!
As it stands the Los Angeles Kings are a top the league by a single point. It all comes down to a penalty shoot out.
The Flyers are up first. It's Voracek on the puck, he has 31 goals this year and a 14.5% successful shot rate. He goes high, stick side, there's a Flurry of movement, no wait, that should be Fluery moves, he waves his stick at the puck, utters the words missus nettus, and its wide, past the post and in to the plexi.
Malkin is up for the Penguins now, he's rushin down the ice, sorry, I mean the Russian skates down the ice, he goes left, he goes right, he does that move you get when you press Right Button and X on your control pad, he spins, he shoots, he scores. The team rush out to hug him, but in Pittsburgh the Russian hugs you. 1-0 Penguins
Wayne Simmonds takes to the ice. He goes right down the middle, the puck right in front of him, a fake to the left, a slip to the right he shoots, he scores. Wayne to go Simmonds!
Sidney Crosby has been the star of the Pittsburgh team this season with 45 goals and he's looking to add another. He misses. What no funny stuff? no, he missed, it was embaressing, feel shame, go home.
Claude Giroux can put the Flyers ahead here. But he doesnt.
Phil Kessels chance to score now. He starts the Kessel Run looking for that big Solo, but it won't be this Millenium with a shot like that which ended up in a spectators seat far far away.
The Pittsburgh Pengiuns still lead by one as Brayden Schenn comes on to the ice. It's do or die now. Sudden Death or Sudden Victory? Cast you're votes now! Calls cost $2 a minute and all proceeds go to the Stephen Hicks Motherboard Recovery Costs Charity...... and the votes are in. Sudden Death - You're soul is mine!
Nick Bonino has had no fights this season. I don't know what you needed to know that but it was a tad more interesting than saying he was named player of the week on the 26th of March 2015. He should be named Player of the Weeks again though as his shot rockets past Jakub Kovar who almost makes the save. So near, yet Kovar!
THE PENGUINS WIN. THE PENGUINS WIN. THE PENGUINS WIN.
Time to p.p.p.p.pick up that Trophy.
Oh, and here are the rest of the result.
