A Prospect's Hopes & Dreams
The Hockey Snooze

Connor McDavid is one of the the top prospects looking forward to the very first GHL Entry Draft after the inaugural season comes to a close. Is he excited? I think so.
RJ: Hi Connor. How are you feeling?
CM: Really, really great. I'm so happy right now. Really, really happy.
RJ: Well that's nice to hear. Is it the upcoming season or the draft that has you most excited?
CM: Well, I'm really, really excited about the upcoming McSeason and I really, really hope we can win our league McChampionship. But I'm also really, really excited about the McDraft. I can't wait to see who picks me! I mean, I really, really hope someone picks me. Someone will pick me, right?
RJ: I'm sure someone will. Are there any teams you'd prefer to go to or any you hope stay away?
CM: Well, I really, really don't think there's any team I don't want to go to. I mean, really, I just really, really want to play in the McGHL. I can't WAIT!
RJ: Really?
CM: Really, REALLY!
RJ: You really mean that?
CM: REALLY!!!
RJ: OK - I'll just name a few teams to get your reaction. Is that OK?
CM: Really? OK!
RJ: The New York Rangers
CM: I would really, really love to go to the McRangers. They have a really, really McLegendary coach in Patrick McChelios and the GM is a super-awesome guy. At least that's what I've heard.
RJ: OK then...the Calgary Flames
CM: No way.
RJ: Huh? I thought you would be really, really happy to play for anyone.
CM: Not the McFlames.
RJ: Whay is that?
CM: Well..."Flames" makes me think of "Flame Broiled" which is how Burger King cooks their burgers. And I really, really hate Burger King. I know it might be really, really surprising, but I really, really LOOOOOOVE McDonalds. The McNuggets, Big Mac, and the McRib! I really, really LOVE the McRib. I mean, where do they find animals that have a ribcage with NO BONES?!?! That's really, really awesome. And the sauce and pickles and onions. I really, really love it!
RJ: McDonalds, huh? I never would've guessed.
CM: I know! McRight?!?!
RJ: Aha. OK. How about the Anaheim Mighty Ducks?
CM: OK. Listen. I really, really like ducks. They're such cute McMammals. Really, really cute. And those DUCKLINGS!!! OMG!!! So McCute!!!
RJ: OK then...well, you mentioned the Flames...
CM: Don't even McMention their name!
RJ: OK, Calgary. So there are teams you would rather not play for. Now that the cat's out of the bag, are there any others?
CM: Cats? I really, really LOVE cats. I mean I really, really love them. They're so CUTE. And those LOL Cats in the McInternet? They are really, really funny, aren't they?
RJ: ...Iiiii...think we're done here. Thanks, Connor.
