Salary Cap

The salary cap has not been raised for a while.. Which I think is a mistake. How can teams afford to keep any one with such a low salary cap when the players in this league file all have high greed? I think it is time to bump it up..

It is an issue I agree. I have been thinking about ways to keep salaries low but it makes the game overly complicated and a lot of work.
Rather than raise the cap, i'm thinking of running the salary reduction program again which will reduce everyones salary by 24%.

Unfortunately it is not as easy as just raising the cap. This game has a serious bug with finances that once the overall amount of salaries league wide gets too high the game crashes often.  The only real solution is to do the salary roll back that Stephen is proposing.

The other thing that can be done is to limit salaries say a top salary is no more then 8 million for instance. This would need further discussion by all and you still would have to occasionally run the salary roll back tool.

I think we will do the salary rollback. Unless anyone has any objections I will do this before the start of series 3 so people can see the effect on thier teams in plenty of time for new salary cotracts to be offered.

From there we can discuss the option of limiting players maximum salary.

Well I put in offers to resign my players so if ya can start with them that would be cool lol
