Oleg Varada marked a new career high in goals with 18 tallies after scoring in tonights game against Toronto Maple Leafs on a feed by Scott Reedy. The coach gave me a chance to play, and I'm just trying to show him he made the right decision, were his words after the game.
A native of Czech, Oleg Varada was originally drafted to the NHL by the Boston Bruins in the 1st round of the 2024 entry draft. He has appeared in 152 NHL games during his career, notching 35 goals and adding 52 assists along with 58 penalty minutes. The 25 year old center has played 70 games with the Tampa Bay Lightning this season, totalling 18+28=46 with 30 PIM.
