David Pedersson marked a new career high in goals with 20 tallies after scoring in tonights game against Boston Bruins on a feed by Trevor Wharton. We played some good, fundamental hockey tonight. When you do that the goals always follow, he pointed out to the gathered press corps.
A native of Sweden, David Pedersson, was originally signed as a free agent to the NHL. He has appeared in 323 NHL games during his career, notching 63 goals and adding 95 assists along with 277 penalty minutes. The 26 year old center has played 57 games with the Tampa Bay Lightning this season, totalling 20+33=53 with 44 PIM.
