FHM 6

Anyone played Franchise Hockey Manager 6? I've always been a fan of EHM but it obviously a bit dated. Anyone tried FHM? If so, what do you think of it?

I can't say that I have, at least not a recent version, but I have screwed around with Football Manager from time to time. The big thing for me is that they get overly complicated - I know they're trying to be realistic, but they just take far too much time and effort. Perhaps the hockey one is different now, but I really just wish we could update EHM and keep it relatively similar (mostly I just want to fix the stupid height/hitting issue). Elegant in its simplicity, if you will

Haven't played it but I heard it's good. Not a fan of them following in EA's footsteps by releasing new games each year and charging full price as if it's an entirely new game when the only change they really make is roster updates.

The latest EHM game, think it was from 2017, is still the best IMO. One set price for the game, but then free patches to update the game each year with a great online community for more updates.
