If a player has a good season in a prospect league does it increase chances of pot boost?

Nah, pot boost's only happen to specific players in specific circumstances. Namely, low pot (under 70), high con (above ~75 --> the higher the better), and they have to be 19 or under at the end of the season.
[edit]: oh, and they have to be signed. They can be in junior, but have to be under contract.

If his pot is below 70 cons over 75 and age under 20 by roll over there is a good chance any of these missing the is 0 chance

So if said player gets 59pts his draft year and gets 79pts the year after does that increase chances (say 65pot 80con) to boost? Or is it determined when he's signed regardless of the impact he had on his team

No, the player's performance has nothing to do with whether or not he boosts. If he's a 65pot, 80con, all that matters is he's signed, under 20, and a bit of random luck. There is no guarantee (I've done test sims where guys will boost 7 times out of 8, but you could always end up with that 1/8 where he doesn't)

Don't forget it goes the other way too. If youre signed under 20 years old at turn over, and con below 50....the pot pretty much will decrease every time!
So if you trade for a stud 18 yr old signed and hes a 87pot 60 con guy....the fuger dips to below 50 in the trade, next turn to the next season your stud will likely have 77 pot now.

Maybe more pot 67 or even 57 in that case. Pot raise could happend after 20 years to 23 and sometimes older. Also rare but possible is getting con raise with trade after 23 years.

Con has to be above 50, 51 is the safe number not 50.
Pot raises do not happen after 20 only before if a player is 20 at roll over he's done.
Con boosts can happen at anytime in a career.
