how are your things going, guys? any news or updates. tv propaganda is the thing i do not trust, so it is interesting what really happens around the world here in St.Peterburg, Russia they say we have 59 guys with desease covid-19 but the feeling is that it is not correct stats. a friend of mine came back from Germany and was taken to hospital, he writes hospital is full of people though some of them were grabbed immidiatey form airports Some people make chaos in shops trying to buy all the stuff and this way they provocate others to do the same Strange things, along with oil dropped, rouble melted and the feeling of something going wrong is becoming stronger Though I think it is time to buy some Amazon or farmaceutical bonds

The media has been terrible with this. People are panic buying products for no reason.
2 cases here in my city, but many agencies have asked their employees to work from home.
Stay safe, Arty

I think certain countries are not reporting cases as they should do, for what ever reason. I can't believe there are so few cases in Russia and to say there are only a couple of hundred in India is just plain nuts.
The UK is doing it very differently from the rest of Europe in that we are not shutting every thing down, instead there are phased shutdowns and no mandatory isolations, yet. It seems to be working if you compare the UK with other major european countries where there are significantly more cases and deaths. Schools have now closed as of this week, many entertainment venues are closed, but not retail outlets, and some leisure actvities are staying open as they've not been ordered to close, just advised to. Some people say it should be mandatory closures like the rest of europe, especially as the idiots here are not doing as they are told and this weekend has seen parks and beaches packed with people all infecting each other. Hopefully a bit of Darwinism in action.
Problem for us is if we dont isolate people and it rapidly gets worse they government will get a lot of grief over it.
On the plus side, there is little traffic on the roads which is great for me as I have to travel. Most my clients still want me to come out, though a couple have cancelled. I have a big group that I have to try and fit in the last couple of weeks and next week and its a ton of travelling, so having them cancel on the day, when you've left home at 6am, is a pain.
Financialy this is all going to do a ton of damage. Businesses will close, people will become unemployed, and I suspect taxes will have to go up to pay for everything. The government is going to spend billions before this is all done. The travel industry looks like it could be destroyed.
It is interesting to see what is going on. Most of last week the food isles in most supermarkets were empty. Very little tinned or packet foods, almost no fresh meets, no toilet roll - really dont understand that one, but it was better this weekend. Still cant get certain things though. No eggs, no pasta, little fresh meet, no fresh fish. Some violence in stores, mainly when someone tries to bulk buy and the store won't let them.
My cousin yelled at me for calling it the Kung Flu. I called her a snowflake and now we are not speaking. meh.
