Following the team's recent 3-0 loss at Carolina Hurricanes on 2-12-2027, Detroit Red Wings captain Seth Jones and Dimitri Trandenkov did not leave the dressing room for some time. I think it was time to get some things out of the way, said Seth Jones.

7-1-2028 Valeri Nichushkin reaches a milestone !
Valeri Nichushkin scored the 200th goal of his career in tonight's game against the Minnesota Wild on a feed by Richard Ferraro. The main thing is we played like a team out there, and didn't quit. We've got to keep that up if we're going to challenge this year, he said after the game.
A native of Russia, Valeri Nichushkin was originally drafted to the NHL by the Dallas Stars in the 1st round of the 2013 entry draft. He has appeared in 1175 NHL games during his career, notching 200 goals and adding 282 assists along with 245 penalty minutes. The 32 year old right wing has played 43 games with the Detroit Red Wings this season, totalling 12+15=27 with 12 PIM.

Brad Moran marked a new career high in goals with 9 tallies after scoring in tonights game against Anaheim Mighty Ducks on a feed by Valeri Nichushkin. We have a good team this year, I'm just happy I can help out, he said before boarding the teams chartered jet.
A native of USA, Brad Moran was originally drafted to the NHL by the Detroit Red Wings in the 1st round of the 2024 entry draft. He has appeared in 146 NHL games during his career, notching 17 goals and adding 32 assists along with 439 penalty minutes.
