Hey guys did you ever thought about making team tournament?
Something like World Cup , Olympiade or world championship.
I can make a separate save at the end of the season so we can make some fun
If we get 6 wishing managers that will be enough to create a competitive tournament
For reality purposes we can randomly select players who rejected to participate in the tournament and some other features
All you need is interest and being ready to devote to the tournament some days to send lines

I've actually been thinking about this. I'd be in. I think the funnest part would be choosing the team. I wouldn't mind if we didn't have to worry about players rejecting the invite. I'd be interested either way though.

It is a separate Save File with its own config_teams and players.ehm I create manually schedule.ehm and in fact that's all Standings and play-offs are formed manually  6 main natioanl teams: Canada, Usa, Russia, Czech rep, Sweden, Finland Probably we can also form teams Switzerland and Slovakia, or something like rest Europe Depending on amount of temas I will form tournament reglament and that is all we can make it during draft or next preseason |

So, I checked available players for Germany, SLovakia and Switzerland
Germany is not competitive at all with just 3-4 good players
Switzerland can send 2.5 more or less competitive lines
Slovakia is the best among them but still I think won't be too competitive
So, 6 teams in round robin and then play-offs is optimal IMHO
If we get more GMs who want to play we can add Slovakia and rest Europe to have 8 teams and 2 groups
Let's return to tournament at the end of the season? or what do you think

i'll be doing it all on friday as its teh only day off I have at the moment. Sorry, we are down people and its long late shifts at teh moment.
