The Pittsburgh Penguins are pleased to select with the first overall selection Frédéric Pelletier (17) G 60 Goalie of the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds. (CSB 3). Despite being a position of GHL caliber depth he is too good to pass up.

Quick scan of the Isles suggests to me that they could really use a defensive forward, so will happily select Stefan Sundstrom (CSB #2)
