OK, i'm just setting up my new laptop to run EHM and its not letting me register the ocx files.
I know some people have had problems with windows 10, anyone know how to fix it? I can run EHM in compatability mode, but I cannot run report maker at all.

Still sticking to Win 7 myself and never letting go... but just a quick question, I didn't realize you needed to register these files... isn't that usually only for the missing .dll file? Sorry for lack of input as I may be missing something.

There are 4 files that you sometimes have to load up. Im using windows 10 on my PC and dont recall having any issues installing it, but on my Laptop, wont let me do it. There seems to be some files missing from the laptop but im not sure which ones at the moment.
Luckily its the play-offs so I can type the results out easily enough, I don't really need reportmaker right now.

EHM Game
To get the game running correctly you need register the ocx files by opening a command line window in Administrator mode. Note that I keep them in the game install directory. Simply change to the directory where you have the ocx files installed and then run:
regsvr32 C:\Path\to\ocxfile\Comdlg32.ocx regsvr32 C:\Path\to\ocxfile\mci32.ocx regsvr32 C:\Path\to\ocxfile\Msflxgrd.ocx regsvr32 C:\Path\to\ocxfile\Tabctl32.ocx
Sometimes you will need to do the same as above with the Mscal.ocx as well.
Player Scout
To get the player scout running correctly you will have to put the msstdfmt.dll in the correct directory and then register it.
regsvr32 C:\Windows\System\msstdfmt.dll

For some reason only just seen that. Tried doing that but it didnt work, it says additional files are missing. Apparently its a windows 10 issue with loading activex controls. I didnt really have time to go hunting for a solution whilst on holiday, will have another look when i've got the time and see if i can get my laptop working properly.
