A very close end to the season with just 6 pts seperating the top 10 teams . 1st placed Philadelphia took a loss to 30th placed Pittsburgh to deny them top spot. St Louis did what they could, winning their remaining game, but so did Altlanta and Detroit, the two powerhouse teams of recent seasons, and with both teams tied on 117 pts, Detroit takes the GHL title on games won.  Florida are the team on form going in to the play-offs, 8 wins no losses in the last ten, but Philly and Edmonton also have 8 wins in the last ten as well.

Play-offs start Monday 10th.
