8-4-2023 League suspends Aaron Haydon
The league board has suspended Tampa Bay Lightning player Aaron Haydon for 4 games for injuring Zach Sanford of Washington Capitals.

Zach Sanford (WSH) suffered chest injury during the game in an incident with Aaron Haydon (TB). He is expected to be sidelined for more than a month. Yeah it hurts, hurts me to watch the game from the press box for a month or so, he murmured as he grimaced in pain.

Cody Almond(MIN) notched the 300th assist of his career in tonight's game against the Colorado Avalanche on a goal by Radomir Neckar. Making beautiful plays is fun on the ice I think, he joked..

7-4-2023 Ryan Strome injured.
Ryan Strome (PIT) suffered knee injury during the game in an incident with Griffin Reinhart (NYI). He is expected to be sidelined for almost half a year. Sure I think it should have been a penalty, but the refs have a tough job out there - I don't envy them. All I can do now is stay off my feet for a few months and hope the injury isn't something permanent, he said while limping toward the dressing room.
