The issues are to do with the speed of simming rather than any changes to the game it might make. 1.18 works ok when you are playing as a single player but when you have multiple GM's the speed of each game takes several seconds longer. That makes simming a weeks worth of games very tedious.
Im happy to load the game up in 1.18, input your contract offers and revert back to 1.16 for this sim.

So an introduction is in order, I was a longtime gm for Washington in the original GHL, hence I know that the greatest player of all time in the original GHL was Yan Champagne and now that that is out of the way some other details. I am from Halifax, NS and just moved back last year after spending 10 years in Kitchener. I have played in a bunch of EHM leagues over the years but am hoping that my Penguins will be more successful than the Capitals I ran for 15 seasons. I work for Canada Post and am a true blue Leafs fan. (Alan Bester sent me an autographed picture when I was 8). I have considered some of the guys in the original GHL some of my very best internet friends (there has to be a better term for this but anyways) and my main goal is to squash the Ottawa Senators.... good to be back with a rivalry with Sean. I am looking forward to getting to know more of you.

Hello everyone,
I'm the new GM of the Islanders. I was the GM of Washington after Doug years ago before the reset. Its been a little while since Ive played EHM but I got an email from Sean and was glad to hear the league was still around. I look forward to coming on board and being part of the community.

Apparently Sean is recruiting former Washington GMs. I know there was one before me in the old GHL. Lol, anyways best of luck Brandon. I will try not to hold a grudge that you traded my favorite player away in the old GHL.

Hello All,
I am the new San Jose GM. With the exception of the last two years I've played EHM since the beginning back in the day. I decided to try and find a functioning league to get back into the game. It might take me a little bit to get the hang of things again so please be patient with me.

Current open teams are: ANA (OTT Caretaker), ATL, BUF, CGY, CAR, COL (PIT Caretaker), CBS, DET (TB Caretaker), FLA (STL Caretaker), LA, MIN, NYR (WSH Caretaker), NSH, SJ, VAN (PHI Caretaker)...some of these teams have caretakers, but are still available Take a look at the most recent file and see what team you may have interest in: Gamefile |
