It's looking like Atlanta are going to win the league this season as they are 9 points clear of 2nd place Detroit and 11 points clear of 2nd place Phoenix. Detroit would need to win a minimum of 5 games and have Atlanta lose all theirs, or win all 7 games and have Atlanta lose 3. Tough job.
In the minors, and remember, top 5 teams win con point boosts, it's a tighter battle. The Icecats lead the way with 100 points but the Crunch, Flames and Monarchs are all on 96 points with the Bruins and Blades on 94. In fact their are only 10 points between the top 11 teams so plenty to play for there.
