Hi all -- Columbus is in rebuild mode and needs picks/prospects badly. The following players are available:
RW Cam Atkinson (81/67/77) - 91 playmaking on Cam, can be a good 1st or 2nd liner depending on need. He is 30 and on his final year of his 3 million contract, asking for 4 million. Can probably resign him at current value.'
RW Alexander Radulov (77/69/73) - solid all-around forward, I have been scratching him in favor of letting some prospects play. Could move for a draft pick.
C Ryan Johansen (79/65/78) - another solid all-around forward, 84 faceoffs/99 skating. Could be a solid player for a team in need of speed and skill.
C Alexander Wennberg (65/75/74) - bottom six forward who could move for a draft pick.
LW Nick Foligno (80/80/80) - top six forward who is solid in all three areas of the ice. Could be a major help for playoff-bound teams!
LW Alexander Steen (77/74/77) - Blue Jackets' captain who is retiring after this season. Could be a help for playoff-bound teams in need of leadership and solid play (70 leadership). Could move for a draft pick or prospect.
D Blake Siebenaler (65/80/76) - good player who can provide support in all three zones and be a special teams stalwart. Hasn't gotten a good opportunity in CBS.
D Sami Vatanen (74/80/78) - another good player who can be a solid player on special teams and help anchor a D. Hasn't gotten a good opportunity in CBS while I check out other prospects.
D David Savard (75/77/76) - another good player who is similar to the guys above -- just really solid in all areas of the rink.
D Ryan Murray (69/87/83) - a true #1 or #2 defenseman who has put him some solid numbers while the rest of the team has stunk around him. Signed cheaply for the next 3 years including team option. I would move him for a good return that helps CBS' future.
Not opposed to moving anyone else not listed, just didn't come up initially for me. Let's make a deal!
